Datacap NETePay is compatible with 2 types of devices:

 

• EMV: stand-alone credit card terminals that support EMV processing, generally connected to the pos station with a USB interface.
• PDCX: inexpensive mini magnetic card readers that can be purchased separately or are built in to all-in-one pos stations. Most magnetic card readers attached to all-in-one pos stations user either Magtek or IDTech firmware and are set to keyboard wedge emulation. These magnetic card readers must be set to use HID mode for compatibility with Datacap NETePay, as described in the next help topic.
